Theory and Musicianship

Aural and Musicianship Training is the foundation on which a solid musical education is built; it develops the skills of the musical mind, i.e. pitch, rhythm, literacy, form, left/right brain skills, gross motor skills, co-ordination, imagination, creativity and memory.

Passing theory and musicianship exams is also a requirement of the AMEB, Trinity, ABRMS and ANZCA.

Teachers can provide individual lessons in aspects of counterpoint, aural, musicology and composition to assist your preparation for the next test.
